Your capital buys real cattle on real land — weighed, recorded and reported, managed by experts, growing in value every day.
The Opportunity
Colombia is the fourth-largest cattle producer in Latin America with over 29 million head. The country's tropical climate allows year-round grazing — no harsh winters, no feed lots, no factory farming. Cattle here grow on open pastures the way nature intended.
Invest directly in Colombia's agricultural economy. No currency conversion, no intermediaries. Your capital stays in COP from start to finish — buying cattle at local market prices, growing them on premium pastureland, and selling into domestic demand that keeps rising.
Monte Plata Farms sits in the highlands of Antioquia — premium grazing land with rich soil, abundant water, and ideal temperatures for cattle health and weight gain. This isn't speculative. This is a proven agricultural model enhanced with modern technology.

If an animal in your lot dies from ordinary causes, Monte Plata replaces it from its own herd at its own cost within 30 days, with an equivalent animal at or above its last recorded weight. If it cannot be replaced in kind, your lot is credited at settlement with what that animal cost to buy.

How It Works
Complete your investor application. Once approved, fund 1 lot at the confirmed all-in quote (approximately 46M COP for 26 head, including transport) via bank transfer.
Your investment funds the acquisition of cattle on our farm. Your lot is recorded in FincaOS with head count, individual intake weights, and purchase invoice.
Our experienced team manages daily operations — feeding, health monitoring, pasture rotation, and veterinary care.
Each lot moves through a cycle of about nine months from purchase to sale. Capital is returned first, then your 40% of gross profit, within 30 days of the sale.
Your Investor Portal
FincaOS is our proprietary platform for lot-level transparency — head count, intake weights, purchase invoices, monthly headcount and 90-day weight reports, photos, and vet notes — from your phone or laptop.

Real-time portfolio value, performance charts, and priority alerts at a glance.
See your lot's recorded head count, intake weights, purchase confirmation, and cycle reports in one place.
Monthly headcount, 90-day weight reports, photos, and vet notes for your lot.
Individual ear-tag identification is being rolled out across the herd.

The Story
I came to Colombia the way a lot of Americans do — curious, a little restless, looking for something different. What I found was a country that surprised me at every turn. The culture, the people, the raw beauty of the land. I didn't just visit. I stayed.
In Medellín I discovered the world of ganadería — the proud Colombian tradition of cattle ranching that's been the backbone of rural economies here for centuries. I rode horses through highland pastures, sat with ganaderos who'd been working the land for generations, and saw an opportunity that almost nobody from the outside was talking about.
I bought my first finca. Then another. I learned the business from the ground up — breeding cycles, pasture management, veterinary care, the economics of weight gain. And I built Monte Plata Farms into a modern cattle operation that respects the Colombian tradition while bringing transparency and technology that investors demand.
Now I want to open this world to others. Not just as an investment — though the returns are compelling — but as a way for foreigners to connect with Colombia at a deeper level. To own something real here. To become ganaderos themselves.
That's what Monte Plata Farms is about: real land, real cattle, real returns — and a real connection to one of the most extraordinary countries on earth.

Colombian Expertise
Every great farm needs someone who understands the land in their bones. For Monte Plata, that person is Paula Andrea. Born and raised in Medellín, Paula Andrea grew up surrounded by the culture of ganadería — the fincas, the ferias, the deep respect Antioqueños have for the campo.
When Danny arrived in Colombia with a vision for a modern cattle operation, it was Paula Andrea who turned that vision into reality on the ground. She bridges the gap between international ambition and local execution — managing relationships with veterinarians, negotiating cattle purchases at the regional ferias, overseeing the vaqueros, and ensuring the farm runs with the precision that investors expect.
Paula Andrea brings what no outsider can: an intuitive understanding of how business works in rural Antioquia. She knows the people, she knows the land, and she knows cattle. She is the reason Monte Plata Farms operates not as a foreign experiment, but as a Colombian operation that happens to welcome the world in.
With Danny's investor mindset and Paula Andrea's operational mastery, Monte Plata Farms is a true partnership — American capital meets Colombian expertise.
INVESTING + RESIDENCY
Colombia grants residency to foreigners who make a qualifying investment in a real Colombian company — and a working cattle ranch is exactly the kind of real, verifiable activity that qualifies. If living here is part of your goal, there's a path for that too.

By private invitation
A separate, individually structured pathway — opened after a personal conversation.
Land, animals, jobs, and production — substance the authorities can verify, not just paperwork.
The standard program is a cattle investment program and by itself qualifies for no visa. This pathway is separate and individually structured.
Every term and risk is disclosed inside FincaOS and reviewed with your own legal and immigration advisors. Approval rests with Colombian authorities.
